El modo de conducción híbrido enchufable convierte al Audi Sport quattro concept en un coupé sorprendentemente dinámico. La potencia del sistema alcanza los 700 CV (515 kW), con un par de 800 Nm. La potencia se transmite a través de un cambio tiptronic modificado de ocho velocidades al sistema de tracción quattro®, que está equipado con un diferencial deportivo en el eje trasero. Según la normativa aplicable, el consumo del prototipo es, de media, de 2,5 litros de combustible cada 100 km, lo que equivale a unas emisiones de CO2 de 59 gramos por kilómetro.
The driving mode of the plug-in hybrid turns the Audi Sport quattro concept in an astonishing dynamic coupé. The system performance reaches 700 hp (515 kW), with a par of 800 Nm. The performance is transmitted through a modified eight-speed tiptronic shift to the quattro® traction system, that its equipped with a sport differential in the rear axle. According to the applicable regulations, the fuel consumption of the prototype is, on average, of 2.5 liters per 100 km equivalent to CO2 emissions of 59 grams per kilometer.
The combustion engines is a four-liter V8 with twin turbo-charger, that produce a potency of 560 hp (412 kW) with a par of 700 Nm. With the cylinder on demand system (COD), that deactivates four cylinders under partial charge, and a start-and-stop system, this loud eight-cylinder is very efficient.
Located between the 4.0 TFSI engine and the transmission, is the disc-shaped electric engine that produce a potency of 136 hp (100 kW) and 400 Nm. The traction energy proceeds from a lithium-ion battery refrigerated in liquid with a capacity of 14.1 kWh, that is located in the rear. The prototype is charged by an Audi wall box module, that uses smart recharge management to ensure the optimum supply of energy to the lithium-ion battery. The Audi Sport quattro concept has a self-sufficiency in electric mode of up to 50 km. A smart management system controls the transition between both driving modes and the driver chooses between several cooperative modes.
The driver can choose between several characteristics for the Audi Sport quattro concept according to the operational and driving strategy. There are three available modes: EV mode for electric driving, Hybrid mode for maximum efficiency, and Sport mode for maximum performance.
